Winner of a 2013 New York Metro Area Rising Star award, Lisa M. Nousek holds active membership in the American Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, and the New York State Bar Association. She completed advanced legal training at the University of Virginia School of Law in Charlottesville, where she sat on the Senior Editorial Board of the Virginia Tax Review and served as a first round presiding justice of the William Minor Lile Moot Court. After earning her juris doctor, Lisa M. Nousek served a year as a federal appellate judicial clerk with the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.
For the past eight years, Lisa M. Nousek has handled complex civil litigation as a partner with the law firm of Boies, Schiller & Flexner, LLP. Supporting a national network of more than 200 attorneys, Boies, Schiller & Flexner gained international notoriety for its involvement in landmark cases such as United States v. Microsoft and Bush v. Gore. Working out of the firm’s Armonk, New York-based office, Ms. Nousek handles a wide variety of cases, including a significant number of complex commercial cases.
